Berry Pickin'

On Thursday Adelaide and I got to go to Westmoreland Berry Farm with a bunch of our neighbors and friends from church. Adelaide enjoyed this handy dandy backpack/baby carrier that some friends gave us, while I picked a load of fresh strawberries to bring home! (next 4 pics by my friend Nicki... thanks girl!)

The berry farm has this fabulous giant porch/patio thing that looks over the entire farm where you can get lunch and kids can play on a playground and feed goats and stuff.  Homegirl L.O.V.E.D. the swing. Seriously, she could have played in that thing all day long.

When we got home I rinsed the strawberries...

So that I could make this (yes there is a spoon already stuck in there; we had to make sure it tasted okay. It did.)...

...and so Adelaide could enjoy a few strawberries herself.
