date night

With Jason starting his job, me traveling so much this summer, and us getting a dog to take care of, it's been hard to get into a routine of a date night yet in King George. But last week we took advantage of one of the gift certificates that my coworkers in St. Louis got me to an awesome little restaurant in downtown Fredericksburg call Poppy Hill Tuscan Kitchen. It was a beautiful night, so we sat outside on the sidewalk and watched all the people go by.

Then we got some coffee and walked around looking at some of the awesome historical building downtown.

This is kind of random... Schub noticed that all the lights were off in this building (an old home that looks like it's used as office space) but that the door was wide open. The benevolent pastor took the opportunity to take a quick peek and side to see if anyone was there (/see what it was like inside) and then kindly shut the door for them.
