CHICAGO!! day 1

So, not this past weekend, but the weekend before, we went to CHICAGO!! It was Schub's Spring Break, and we went up with 4 friends. Steven found us a SWEET apartment at an awesome price ON Michigan Avenue a couple blocks west of Grant Park. It was the 21st floor and we had an awesome view. On one side we could see Lake Michigan, Soldier Field, and the Bear's Stadium. From the other side we could see the White Sox stadium and more of downtown (South Loop area). PLUS, I'm pretty sure we were the first people to stay in this apartment since it had been renovated. There was still plastic on the stove racks and stickers inside the refridgerator. It was awesome.

We got to Chicago on Thursday afternoon and made sure to make it to the Art Institute of Chicago that evening b/c it was FREE. And it was really cool.

I don't know if you can tell, but this is a miniature house. It is so so so intricate and detailed, but that harp - for perspective - is probably about 3 or 4 inches tall. This dude even created the light coming through the windows and the "outside" building in the background. There were dozens of rooms, in decor from all over the world. This was the Charleston, South Carolina house...
