Introducing.....

... our new Nikon D3000! We are quite excited to own a digital SLR camera. We've only had it for about 36 hours now, and we don't really know how to use it well, although I'm pretty sure we've already read the entire instruction manual front to back. We are learning how to adjust the f stop (that's what the aperture is called, right?), the ISO, and the exposure, among other things. We went to D.C. yesterday so we have pictures of actual people, but these are some that we have taken just playing around for the past day or so. We know the content is not at all interesting, but it is the quality of the picture that we are so excited about.




(the next two were fun b/c you can so easily focus on what you want to focus on... for example the plugs vs. the towel ring)
