Jason and I enjoyed a little mexican dinner tonight and then came home for an intense game of Rummikub. It's been a bit of a busier week than usual. This is my busiest time of year at work (this past week and this coming week) and somehow we (I?) managed to fill all of our evenings with something this past week - Saturday we had friends over for dinner, Sunday night we went to a Bible study at church, Monday night we had people over for dinner, Tuesday we were interviewed by a friend for his internship and then I went to coffee with another friend, Wednesday we had Kingdom Group, Thursday we babysat, and Friday we had friends over for dinner.
Phew.
Jason, by the way, has been a rockstar husband and has done the grocery shopping for every evening we had people over and completely cooked the meal last night AND he's done a great job of keeping the apt neat.
So tonight we are relaxing as we are wait for a friend from home to come stay with us tonight.

Jason, carefully contemplating his next move...
Me winning...
Jason putting the game away.
I'd say it's been a good night!

Fun! I'm glad that you won Rummikub. So proud of you. I need some clarification on the interview comment.. I didn't get what was going on there?
Gotta love the 'kub. Nice pix of you (self shot?). Pencil me in for next Wednesday night, please. :)
PS My laptop is dying, so we're going to get a new one soon. It will come w/ a camera ... does yours have one?? We could talk and see each other at the same time!
i'm sending you good vibes for this week! i keep thinking friday is going to be a rough day for you guys without me to bring the donuts. i brought donuts to our office this past friday as we settled into the "day before chili cook-off insanity" - and oh my - working an event like that was like nothing i've ever experienced before! not even golf on the busiest year when brenda decided not to go at the last minute because jerry was sick from chemo. my legs are still swollen from standing and running around all day.
anyway - if you get SUPER DESPERATE for a donut fix - just say the word!
miss you!
