Finally something to write about - Jason's Surprise Bday Party!

As most everyone knows, we had a surprise birthday party for jason on Saturday. Theme: FIELD DAY!! Everything turned out really great. Especially the fact that Jason was actually very very surprised! He literally did not have a clue that anything was going on. Not even when we pulled up! We sat in the car for like 45 seconds when we got there as he tried to put together all the pieces. I'm sure everyone was like "um, the party's out here!" We had a great crowd - thanks everyone for coming! And of course, we played lots of games. We had three-legged races, potato sack races, wheelbarrow races (from which I was sore the next day!), inner tube races, and an egg-on-spoon relay. I think everyone had a good time... and most importantly jason had a really good time! In fact (not to toot my own horn) Jason said it was the best birthday he had ever had :-) Here are a few highlights of the day:
