That's right... Adelaide is ONE! The year did, in fact, go by pretty quickly. It has been truly amazing to watch Adelaide pick up new things every single day. She is SO fun. SO sweet. SO smart. SO stubborn. Also silly, determined, strong, friendly and ADORABLE. But you guys all knew that already.
Last Saturday we had a little birthday party for her. All of our family got to be there - even Dana and Brad skyped with us all the way from China. It was a perfect day. Burgers on the grill, cupcakes, presents, cornhole, and kickball. It was fun and Jason and I are SO grateful that everyone made the loooong trips up to celebrate Adelaide with us. It would not have been the same without them all there.
It was the PERFECT day for an outdoor party (in our newly fenced-in backyard), and it was fun to celebrate with the family! More pics and more about our 1 yr old to come.

We are so so thankful for you and all the joy you bring to our family and the smiles you put on our faces every single day. We are so excited to continue to watch you grow and learn this coming year and many many more after that. Your little personality and your smile fit just perfectly into our family; we are so glad God gave us YOU!
