That's right. That's what it takes to burn RICE. And apparently, I've got it.
I guess I will soon find out just how stainless our stainless steal pots really are.
I think this year I'll ask for a rice cooker for Christmas. Seriously, who does this? I really must be one in a million.

Aw man, did this happen on your bad day? I would like to publicly confirm though that you are a great cook despite the burned rice! I think your food is delicious (though I wouldnt touch that rice. hahaha) :)
Just blame it on being a new Mom. If and when I ever have a child, I'm gonna blame everything on being a new Mom. LOL, so sorry you burnt this almost beyond recognition. HA!
