Wedding of the Century

Hello faithful readers. We are not dead. We're back. No excuses; we were both just lazy/slightly tied up over the last few weeks.

Last weekend was so so exciting because our family expanded again to embrace Bradford Hedgepeth as my sister Dana's new husband. They are an awesome couple (check out their blog and hear about their upcoming adventures teaching in China next year!) and my mom is an awesome party planner. The entire weekend was beautiful and perfect and had so many personal and thoughtful touches to it. I must be honest - and most of you who know me will be shocked to hear - that I didn't take any pictures the entire weekend. nope. zero. none. not one. There was just so much going on and so many other people with cameras that I just didn't feel like it was necessary. Naturally, now I wish I would have. So I have compiled OTHER people's pictures from facebook for your enjoyment.

(BROOKE - totally not trying to steal your picture glory here. I will give you all the credit. I was just going to link to your blog when you updated, but since you haven't yet, I got anxious and couldn't wait to show them off. sorry.)

*these first 6 pictures are courtesy of my sister Brooke. She took TONS more amazing pictures, so when she puts them on her blog, I will post the link.

Does Dana not look absolutely STUNNING here??

It was so so good to see relatives that we usually go years without seeing. I so wish we all lived closer!

Dana and my beautiful, dedicated mom

The happy couple!!

This is just a peak at the ring bearers oh-so-cute outfits. I'll wait for Brooke to post how adorable they were in their tuxes holding the pillow. And Miles, Noah and Mason (flower girl) all did awesome!

*The rest of these pictures are courtesy of Dana's friends that I stole from facebook. Thank you Christi Rostin, Becky Atkinson, and Neely Vasher.

I think this was right after the first dance with my dad :-)

I LOVE this picture because this guy (yes, the one with his hand raised high) was my sister's senior prom date in high school. They have remained great friends, and I feel like this gives me a glimpse into what that night in 1994 must have been like. Fun times.

This, my friends, was the lead singer of the band. He helped the whole aquarium get down that night. They were awesome.

The amazing cake

One more of the happy couple.

Dana and Brad - we are so so excited for you guys. You could not be more perfect for each other and we are so excited to have many years of family holidays and vacations together. Your night was beautiful and perfect and we were both so honored to be part of it.

For their professional pictures, you can click here for the slide show (just a some of the hundreds of pictures that are already compiled into a sample album). Enjoy!
