A New Year

Our wonderful wonderful friends Hunter and Jeannie came all the way from West Virginia to St. Louis for New Year's. We invited the Edgings (fellow Clemsoners) and the Barretts (Nebraska-ers) to stir up some friendly competition before the big bowl game on Friday. Everyone brought a game and we played them all throughout the evening. We kept score by couple, and at the end the couple with the most points got to pick which game they wanted to take home. Everyone went home with a game and we had lots and lots of fun!

Mom, this picture is for you. Look. I'm using the Christmas plate you gave me for Christmas! AND I provided veggies at the party. I added celery and cucumber to this plate as well.

And Trish, there were exactly eight people, so we used all the Christmas plates that YOU gave us too! They were perfect. Our mothers were very present at the New Year's gathering :-)

Hunter and Jeannie... still in love after 7 hours in the car.

... and Brooke (these two pictures of you guys seperately were way better than any I had of the two of you together. haha).

Schub obviously had a really good time playing this game... and it happens to be the one we went home with!

Hunter and Jeannie explaining their game to us.

I believe a good time was had by all... especially the Edgings who were the winners of the evening!
