Christmas 2008

We had such a wonderful Christmas break. We got to see a lot of friends and spend time with both of our families. We spent our first few days home in Charlotte with Jason's parents and got to spend an afternoon with his extended family too. They gave us an awesome Christmas! Complete of course lots of stocking stuffers, a few gift cards, and (drumroll...) a GPS! We were so excited and really surprised by the GPS! We are totally loving it and haven't gotten lost since Christmas :-)

Then we went to my parents' house. The night we got there my parents had an open house and we invited a bunch of my friends from high school. It was so so great to see everyone. I do have pictures from that, but they haven't made the transfer to my computer yet. My sister Dana was home as well, and we had an awesome and completely RELAXING Christmas. Here a few shots from Christmas day.

Schub lookin' good in one of his new hats.

AND he learned how to prepare the turkey (this picture isn't actually of the turkey, but he did learn how to do that)! Before we know it, my dad will be sitting back letting us do all the work.

some of my loot :-)

It was so so beautiful in Charleston. Christmas day was about 75 degrees and sunny. Here are Jason and Dana reading on the back porch while the turkey cooked. so relaxing.

It was so nice out, that we decided to have Christmas dinner on the relatively new screened in back porch. It was so nice, and again, relaxing.

It was a wonderful Christmas that came and went way too quickly!!
